Prohibition Deli LTD / מעדניית המחתרת בע”מ operates as a direct-to-consumer catering company, retail delicatessen, and event space. We’ll soon be launching a B2B wing, marketing condiments to small businesses. We offer delivery and pickup through online ordering and phone orders when you can reach us 🙂 We operate under a “goodwill” policy with a real dedication to excellence. We stand by the quality of our goods and guarantee customer satisfaction, meaning – speak with us, we genuinely want to make you happy.

Product images:

Web images are used as a reference point and may not always depict the actual image of the product received. For example, with fresh prepared food, there is always going to be nuanced variation as fresh prepared foods are based on ingredients that are real and seasonally varied.  Deli meats, too may be leaner or fattier from week to week. For example, Prohibition pickle does not advertise the corned beef and pastrami as lean or fatty. This is also indicated in the product description. Receiving a cut of deli that is not to your preference in this regard is not grounds for a refund or any type of compensation.

Site visitors are encouraged to make requests, and we are committed but not obligated to honor these requests.

Product Warranty:

Our facility is יצרן בתהליך, A” licensed producer in process”. We do not issue expiration dates on our goods unless it is printed on the packaging, just as though you were to purchase take-out from a restaurant. Therefore, we offer no guarantee on the extended shelf life of our fresh food products. Our entire menu should be considered fresh for immediate consumption (same day/hour) unless indicated otherwise on the package.

Service:

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Delivery:

We determine our delivery range and calendar and reserve the right to charge additional delivery fees above the advertised rates, based on order volume, delivery date, and distance. Our site’s automation is programmed for weekend delivery, where we operate a distribution route. Private deliveries off-route/catering orders/and special events are subject to higher rates to be determined by management.

“Flexible delivery” means that we plan the delivery route according to our needs and order saturation by area, and the exact delivery hour is not guaranteed. A delivery window of one hour is usually offered within 36 hours of ordering for Shabbat (Thursday & Friday) and may be late up to one hour of the offered window. Lateness does not justify canceling an order, free delivery, or refunding an order, partially or entirely.

Return Policy:

Returns are not allowed. Since our food is sold fresh and ready to eat, we cannot accept any returns once the food has been delivered with the exception of damaged goods, at our discretion.

Refund Policy:

Refunds are at the sole discretion of the business. We do not offer refunds once an order has been delivered except in cases where there was a defect. If you discover that your order is not as expected, subpar, or damaged/spoiled, please contact us immediately, and we promise to do our best to amend the mistake.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations are at the discretion of management. In many cases, orders can be canceled up to 36 hours before delivery. Deliveries are made Thursday or Friday, depending on the delivery location, or any other day of the week if approved by management. To cancel an order within 36 hours of delivery, please contact us to see if we can help. If management agrees to cancel your order, a refund will be issued via the same payment method used to place the order.

Age Restriction:

There is no age restriction for purchasing on our website except for alcoholic products (18 is the legal age in Israel). Users of all ages may purchase here.

Delivery Policy:

For orders placed through the website, orders placed by noon on Wednesday will be delivered by Thursday OR Friday. Our delivery days and rates are advertised on our homepage to delivery zones Max delivery time is up to 9 days. All of our deliveries are made via private courier or company van. This site will not be held responsible for delays and/or delays in shipping carried out by a third party that is affected by force nature, and/or strikes and/or road shutdowns, closures, and/or non-response on the part of the customer to coordinate the shipment. Please be available by whatsapp and telephone through the number you submitted on your order form on the day of your delivery.

Privacy Policy:

This business takes acceptable precautions in order to maintain, as much as possible, the confidentiality of information provided. This business undertakes not to use the details of the customers registered on the website except for the needs of operating the website, in order to enable a purchase, and for the purposes of marketing the website, products, and services directly only. We do not sell or share information to 3rd parties.
